1. Early Beginnings

a. In Buea, Cameroon

Serving the Lord fervently in The Apostolic church Cameroon, where a solid foundation in Christ was received.
Evangelistic outreaches, Praise and Worship gatherings, Revival meetings, Prayer retreats, and tarry night prayer
meetings kept us busy and focused on the kingdom during those youthful days.

Sunday visitation after church service to check on one another was an important component of our spiritual
growth. Brotherly and a spirit of community was inculcated in our upbringing. Even as students, church for us was
like home throughout the week. Musical skills developed as we served diligently with our talents in God’s house.
On Sunday mornings, we were fully engaged in church activities, leading or ministering as assigned. We would
return in the afternoon again for another youth gathering. We travelled sometimes during weekends, ministering in
churches or planting new ones in the hinterlands or remote places – that’s how we were trained for missions

b. Wichita Falls, TX, USA

Travelling to the USA for studies with all the spiritual equipping from Africa, a prayer and Bible study group sprang out in 2009 inside Samuel’s living room following an outbreak move of God among students. Our apartment was tagged the “voodoo apartment” after four Cameroonian roommates began loudly praising God, dancing, and playing a guitar with doors widely open in an apartment complex well-known for parties on Friday nights. After the news spread in the community that four voodoo practitioners were in action, an overflowing house of interested observers was the outcome three weeks later. Dr. Rhoda Numfor from Oklahoma visited us to witness and participate in the revival- she ministered powerfully. Pastors visited from far and near to witness the work of God after hearing the great news of revival taking place among students in Wichita Falls, TX.
Samuel Musong, an international student reading Mechanical Engineering could not hold the fire he brought with him from Africa. Before the breakthrough happened with the Bible study group, Samuel encountered challenges, trying moments, temptations, and mockery within the student community were he lived. He did not bow to any – he stood his grounds and warred in the spirit to affect the status quo and change norm. The students become hungry for God and ceased weekend clubbing activities, which was then the norm, to attend Friday prayers. Those who worked on Friday nights had the opportunity to join the Saturday morning prayer sessions. Evangelism usually followed the Saturday morning prayers to the Flea market in Wichita Falls where we handed pamphlets, worshipped with our guitars and prayed for people.
Samuel Musong started a guitar training class for all those who were interested. Moise Lambe and Fru Donald were passionate learners. The fellowship and unity were real even on non-meeting days. Here’s Moise Lambe, Yoni Lambe, Moh Hadding, Samuel Musong (L-R) sharing a time together. Samuel Musong would often prepare what was fondly called “fried beans” and chicken with rice on Friday nights after prayer meeting with some soft drinks along. The brethren would gather, eat, and talk late into the night before going home. Some said it was the best and purest way to relief the academic stress they incurred during the week. Moise Lambe, standing in the kitchen, was well known for making delicious, stewed pork feet and ripe plantains or rice. An tired and exhausted Samuel Musong delightfully waits for the fellowship meal being prepared by Moise after a wonderful Friday Bible Study meeting in their home.
Our first church plant in Wichita Falls TX together with Pastor Stanley Waide (worshipping in Brown African regalia but now of blessed memory) with the first souls saved from street evangelism. Yoni is on the Keyboard, Moise is on the acoustic and Samuel is filming. Joe (standing) and his brother (seated) were well-known former gang members in TX who had been in and out of jail several times. Joe had a dramatic encounter with Jesus at the Flea market when Samuel asked him to drop his Cigarette and step on it by faith if he wanted to be free from the addiction. After a brief prayer, Joe was completed delivered from smoking addiction. Joe went out to share his testimony and bring his friends to also experience the touch of God and become free from their addictions. Some months later, Joe passed on to go be with Jesus. Soon after the planting of this church, Samuel left Wichita Falls and the church closed within few months of operation after facing some challenges.
Arrey Takang (in yellow African regalia) was referred to as the Spokesman or “Apollos” because he was outgoing and made friends so easily. Samuel Musong on the other hand was often referred to as “Elijahtic man”, “Lion man” or ground breaker because he was often reserved and had a serious or stern look that made sure things were appropriate and in order. Alongside our sister Bible study group lead by Yemi Ojo (in the blue top), we were usually invited by churches to come fellowship or share our experiences (Samuel & Arrey at USA Deeper Life Bible Church 2010 convention in Denton, TX). Moise Lambe, Yoni Lambe, Arrey Takang, Samuel Musong (4 roommates from L-R) were invited to the Christmas dinner at Grace church in December 2009). At the Heritage Assemblies of God Church, incoming students for the Spring 2010 semester were warmly welcomed by both Bible study groups. When Samuel Musong finished his program in 2011 (Brethren bade him farewell with a “love cake’), he handed over leadership to Yoni Lambe, who collaborated effectively with Pastor Manga Ade to keep the Friday Bible Study meetings going. When Yemi finished her Nursing program in 2012, she also handed over leadership of the sister Bible study that met on Tuesday evenings to Arrey Takang. About a year later, both Bible study groups merged into one with Yoni and pastor Manga Ade who kept driving the work. Samuel Musong moved to San Antonio, TX, for graduate Studies where he later began PITSa’s online prayer platform in 2012.
On his graduation, Samuel Musong received prayers from the brethren lead by Pastor Stanley Waide, together with whom they planted a church. Among those present where the Mungo family from Denton, TX, Pastor Joseph Agbo (Who regularly visited us, called to check on us, and prayed with us) of Deeper life Bible Church Denton, TX, and the Bowmans (American couple who took Samuel as their son sent by God from Africa). Samuel was released by his brethren to his next assignment as he left for San Atonio which became PITSA.
After Samuel Musong left Wichita Falls, Yoni Lambe in collaboration with Pastor Manga Ade continued to lead the Bible study group for some years until Pastor Rene Takang joined them and merged his own Bible study group with theirs. As they continued collaborating and working together with Pastor Takang Rene and his wife, Yoni had the leading to hand over the prayer group to this amazing couple who have established a beautiful and thriving church family called Gospel Culture. Yoni and Manga were part of the founding pillars of Gospel Culture till they both left Wichita Falls. Pastors Rene and Dr. Etem-Chu Takang are the lead Pastors of Gospel culture which now has new branches in other cities in Texas. The current address of Gospel Culture (2025) is: 1814 Buchanan St, Wichita Falls, TX 76309

c. PITSA kicks off online on audio conference calls (May 2012)

As a student in San Antonio TX Samuel Musong was seeking God’s divine direction for him in the USA. After several experiences he had over a 6-month period during his time of seeking, the outcome was an online prayer platform that reassembled his fellow brethren who were now scattered everywhere in the USA. Over time the platform grew in numbers as many could experience revival in their prayer lives. Here is one of the earliest PITSA online meetings via skype in 2014. Connection members from Korea. At PITSA’s debut, the meetings were only once a week on Friday nights. Later, it moved to twice a week, morning and evening. Before we knew it, I ran for all seven mornings of the Week.

d. Special mentorship visit with Dr T Osborn (July 2012)

A few of us were privileged to have a face-to-face meeting with Dr TL Osborn in his home in 2012.Ater we fellowshipped at IGC Tulsa with him, he fed us at a restaurant, took us to his house and showed us around his home in Tulsa Oklahoma. We then interacted with him, asked questions, received counsel, admonition and prayers from him. Little did we know that he will be leaving the earth 6 months Later on Valentine’s Day 2013.

e. Fervent prayers on Zoom during COVID-19 days (2020)

During the COVID 19 pandemic, extensive prayer sessions were organized such as prayer marathons that ran 12 – 24 hours at different times of the year. Here are snapshots of Intensive prayers on zoom in the heart of the COVID 19 pandemic. Churches were on lockdown and the future of the world was uncertain; prayer was the last hope for man kind
Dramatic healings took place as corporate prayers were offered for the sick virtually via zoom ministration for the sick via zoom or via conference call. Throughout the pandemic, we stayed busy online with fervent prayer sessions, spiritual warfare, regular fasting, mentoring sessions, impartation sessions, equipping, prayer partnerships, and prayer chains. After COVID, our faith and prayer lives in PITSA had risen to another level, however, many went to sleep. If everyone prays today the same way they prayed during COVID-19, the world will experience a great revival. As a matter of fact, COVID made people pray and turn to God. Lock downs reduced the sin and evil in the air

3. Prayer Walk

After spending 8 hours of all night prayers, we stepped out by 4am for a prayer walk venture in Portland Oregon (in September 2022), beginning with Mount Tabor. From the hilltop view of Portland Oregon, we rained blessings and prophesied victory over the dominion of darkness in the territory through the name and blood of Jesus. As we continued prayer walking on Mount Tabor’s trails, we walked on the same track where Dr. John G Lake had an angelic encounter in 1922 that changed his ministry. We prayed and expressed our desire for revival while walking on the very footsteps of this God’s general. Dr John G. Lake’s home in 1922 is just a walkway downhill.
Prayer walking is a fun activity that also has great health benefits from the many steps covered. Watching after kids and prayer walking was a significant part of Samuel Musong’s life as shown in this 2020 snapshot. As a father, he brought ministry within his fatherly responsibilities and kept the fire of ministry burning. We also did prayer walking and intercessions on ancient city landmarks of Portland Oregon like the Powell library and downtown Portland. In 2022, Portland Oregon was named top on the list homelessness and the plague of drug addiction filled the streets and communities. So, we also rode in a rented bus on strategic locations within Oregon praying in tongues, repenting, pleading the blood of Jesus, crying for God’s mercy and making intercessions for the deliverance of land (2Chron 7:14).
Praying alongside another prayer group we met at the town square of downtown Portland Oregon (September 2022). This group prays on the streets of Portland every Saturday, very early in the morning. We joined voices and made decrees over the territory. We took with us some breakfast sandwiches for the homeless as we walked and prayed. We ministered hope, encouragement and healing to the homeless and sick at the Town Square

4. Homeless outreach

We made stops at significant locations with homeless shelters or where the homeless gathered. We met face-to face with them, prayed with them, shared hope in Christ, ministered healing and gave them some lunch. The night before our prayer walks and homeless outreach, we spent hours praying for the community; we also prayed over packs of sandwiches and released them as a point of contact for conviction, healing deliverance by the power of the Holy Spirit for anyone that ate. The homeless happily received us and enjoyed the sandwiches we shared. Some of these people who have been on the streets for over 15 years shared with us their stories of misfortune that brought them to the streets. We left them with hope for miracles with Faith in Jesus. Mama Odilia (in pink) spear headed these interactions with the homeless people from her vast experience helping homeless people in the streets of San Francisco, CA.

1. Retreats and face-to-face fellowships

Fellowship meal with PITSA family in San Francisco. California (Dec 2019). These precious people would wake up early at 2am Pacific Time to join our morning prayer meetings every day.
Fellowship meal with PITSA family meeting for a retreat in Portland, Oregon (Sept 2022). Kids playing together during prayer retreat (Sep 2022). A time to socialize and interact during the Oregon retreat (2022)

2. 10th Anniversary Reunion

To wrap up the 2022 retreat was P.I.T.S.A’s 10th Anniversary celebration. We were gladly hosted by Dr and Mrs. Luwani and Liz Ndukum. It was a beautiful reunion where some people met face-to-face for the very first time. We shared stories, laughed together, and ate delicious meals. It was a moment to thank God for the reaching the 10 year milestone and looking into the great things the future holds for P.I.T.S.A.
We fellowshipped at Living Hope Church, the local church of our Oregon host. Living Hope Church has a heritage of sustained revival and community impact for over 100years. It was a privilege to visit this place, pray on the church grounds and interact with the associate Pastor. Dr. Luwani lead the Prelude prayers and invited us to give a brief praise interlude in the African style, which Sister Eveline did a great job. The audience was thrilled with the song: “when Jesus Oregon, Hosanna, the people shouted Hosanna”. Three weeks earlier, before we met in Oregon, Sister Eveline had a dream where she was leading the team powerfully in songs – so did it come to pass
The church service at Living hope that Sunday was outdoors and ended with a Picnic. It was a great family time for us all as we breathed fresh air outside and had our final fellowship for PITSA’s 10th Anniversary (2022) before take off.

3. Charity to widows, orphans, internally displaced persons (IDPs)

a. Bekora Community (SW-Ndian, Camerooon)

Rev Johnson Awah of The Apostolic Church Cameroon, Bekora District (2021) and the church leadership handing food stuff to TACC Bekora members (IDPS). The crisis in the region sent church members into the bushes for over 2 years. Some of these members who had lost houses, property, jobs, farmlands, and loved ones were struggling to feed. Hope and joy filled the faces of these people as they showered blessings, appreciation to P.I.T.S.A for sponsoring the project. The food travelled far into the bush shelters and interior villages cut-off food supply.
Orphans in Bekora who benefitted from scholarships (2021,2022 and 2024) to attend the village community school in Bekora, express appreciation to their sponsor. These pupils had no means to continue school but for the scholarships support. They all perform well in their academics.

b. Souza, Kombe, Kotto

c. Nakke, Bole, Kombone, Kwakwa

Aftermath of the NOSO crisis in Nakke village, sending IDPs into bushes because their homes were burnt down.

Rev. Francis Tima purchased food supplies for his church members living in the bushes (2018) in the NOSO crisis. He miraculously escaped gunshot bullets during this trip to share food with TACC members in the bush shelters. Rev. Francis is a shepherded indeed; he chose to visit his members and show them care in such difficult moments.

g. Manjo

Less privileged children receive financial assistance for school year 2019/2020, in Manjo. Three widows who are fervent members in TACC Majo received support for house rents and some funds to boost their petty trade businesses – Here they are expressing gratitude.

h. Banga Bakundu

Homeless IDP widows with children, and orphans living under palm trees in Banga Bakundu Village, Cameroon (2018) because of the NOSO crisis. PITSA has supported the relocation of 13 families so far who lived in one IDP bush camps into rented apartments. Several others are still in such camps with harsh living conditions and trusting God for their daily bread– PITSA and other donors frequently send feeding support through missionaries to these camps who also share the word of God and prayers .
Over 50 orphans and less-privileged children being housed and raised in Mama Hannah Balike’s home by her daughter, Evangelist Lucy Odine. Some of these children lost one or both of their parents during the early years NOSO crises. Some were born in the bush camps, delivered by Ev. Lucy who is also a nurse. The education of these children was halted for 3-4 years due to insecurity and uncertainty of war in these areas where they lived. After some period of calm in the community, these academically delayed children attended school for 1 academic year with support from generous donors. When this support was no longer available, these children halted school again for another year until their story met the hearing of people PITSA who took interest in the case. PITSA has financed the education of these children since the 2024/2025 academic year in primary, secondary and vocational levels.
Some of the orphans and less-privileged children under Evang. Lucy’s care are shown receiving school supplies and a renewed hope for education in the Banga Bakundu community (2024). Ms. Jacky, a teacher in the community primary school, has been very instrumental in providing the needed support through remedial lessons and catch-up sessions for these children. When it got to our attention that these children had no beds but slept on the floor, PITSA quickly mobilized for some mattresses to be bought for them. These children are being groomed in Godly character, hard work and discipline and excellence. They have been bringing great results in their school work.

5. Hinterland missions

a. Souza, Kotto and Kombe villages

Pastor Mazin Abang, making disciples out of the IDPs that escaped the NOSO crisis in NW regions
into Souza and Kombe villages (2019)

As a good soldier in the Lord’s army, Ps Maxzim Abang is preaching the gospel with the demonstration of the power of the Holyghost, destroying charms, fetish objects and idols surrendered by families in Souza and Kotto communities (2021). Family deliverances from demonic bondages through the power of prayers have been taking place as people surrender to the message of the gospel of Jesus Christ. After prayers, a hidden padlock wrapped with charms was found in a family’s toilet, exposed by the power of God.

The result of preaching the gospel with the demonstration of power in the Hinterland fields is repentance,
salvation, water baptism, Holy ghost baptism, discipleship and the planting of prayer cells as shown here in Kotto
village (2022)

b. Bekora and Nkolbisong (Cameroon)

Rev. Awa Johnson baptizing new IDP converts from their bush hidings in the heat of the NOSO crises. Even in the
war zones, new converts were made for the kingdom, and the church still grew in the bushes because a resilient
and determined Pastor did not leave his members alone in the bushes.

c. Douala

Ps. Derick Nchia gathering believers, including several NOSO IDPs in their new church premise in
Douala, Cameroon. PITSA sent its contribution to the remodeling of the hall (2019).

f. Tiko

Pst/Mrs Divine Sakwe

g. Kumba

Kema Pauolo, a beneficiary of a scholarship offered by PITSA in 2019 for his Bible school training, has been on the mission field since then, preaching in the hinterlands with results. Kema began a fresh work in an old torn down building to accommodate and disciple the souls in the house cells groups he has been gathering throughout his outreaches in Kumba. Here are the members during the first Sunday Service in 2024.
Kema Paoula ministers powerfully with a strong prophetic edge and accuracy is the Sifts of the spirit. Even without a good building structure, souls come in to hear the word of God and receive a Divine touch. Kema is ministering powerfully to the sick on a hospital bed under a strong healing and prophetic grace, with signs accompanying. He would go for errands as needed to pray for people in Cameroon when requested by people in PITSA’s forum abroad. He is also an anointed musician, very skillful on the keybboard

h. Limbe

Hadison Wasi is a hinterland missionary based in Limbe, alongside his wife Irene. He ministers on the streets of Limbe and has also begun a prayer cell in his living room.

i. Banga Bakundu

Here’s the Mount Zion prayer cell gathering led by Evangelist Lucy Odine in Banga Bakundu village. This group started in an IDP camp called Glorious Camp during the NOSO crisis. This prayer cell is making waves in the community with great testimonies of salvation, healing, deliverance and miracles. Their meeting tent, torn down by heavy rainfall, was repaired with PITSA’s support. Evangelist Lucy is a devoted woman of God with a passion for souls and a heart for the less privileged. She has taken the responsibility to cater for over 50 children in her family home and also victims of the NOSO crisis. She and her team reach out to those still living in bushes of Banga Bakundu village with the gospel and food supplies with PITSA’s support. Elder Albert Ndinga of TACC Long Street Banga Bakundu is an experienced missionary in the hinterlands.

Dedicated to the blessed memory Late Deaconess Christine Takweni, the biological mother of Samuel Musong, who raised him the way of the Lord. She modelled Christ-like living and integrity to us on a daily basis. During the early days of PITSA she would encourage Samuel keep on and not give up despite all the challenges; she would rain prophetic words over him and pray deeply with tears rolling down as always. She was a prophetic intercessor whose words of counsel, direction and encouragement carried so much weight. She raised so many spiritual sons and daughters and opened the doors of her home to many less privileged. Her legacy lives on through the work P.I.T.S.A. is doing today.

He was a father indeed, and a great source of inspiration and encouragement in the early days of ministry for Samuel Musong and many others in the PITSA family. He believed in young men and empowered them to do God’s work. At one point when Samuel Musong needed clear directives on ministry pursuits, he counseled Samuel to pursue his university studies and not drop out. He would admonition us to be watchful and careful with money so that we don’t destroy the greatness that he saw ahead of us. His prayers were a strong covering and brought so many open doors to us every time he visited the USA.coness Christine Takweni, the biological mother of Samuel Musong, who raised him the way of the Lord. Dedicated to the blessed memory of late Apostle Paul Eyong Tambe, former President (5th) of TACC. He was a father, coach, mentor and role model to so many in the ministry today. He initiated the youth movement in TACC way back in the late 1980’s. He was a prolific orator with a unique teaching and preaching style emulated by Samuel Musong and others today. He was district pastor in Buea when Samuel Musong was made a prayer cell leader at age 15. When he came to visit the prayer cell, he would call Samuel “little Reverend” and make us all laugh. His sermons were hard to forget because they came with vivid and practical illustrations. He gave Samuel the right hand of fellowship in TACC,1998. He was a praying machine, a soul winner, a builder, and a man who motivated us into kingdom action by example.
